Dear... Sev & the Universe Itself
They said there was never really a right person, wrong time.
Because if it was the right person, it wouldn't be the wrong time.
Then again, maybe we weren't really ever meant to be.
That the universe knew all too well we weren't meant to grow old together, that's why we met this early.
But I can't help but stay hopeful.
To stick with the saying of "right person, wrong time".
We never ended it in fights, or hatred.
But one with acceptance, and grateful for the other's love.
It was the situation we were in, the life the universe has thrown at us.
We're kids. Kids who fell in love way too deeply between the screens, and sentences.
So is it wrong to believe that it is the wrong time, and you were the right person?
That we could've made it work, if it weren't for the people around us.
If I was able to, I would. But I couldn't.
And you knew that all too well, because you were in the same boat.
So maybe it is my wishful thinking.
My delusions.
My inability to let go.
That in another hopeful occurrence.
Event.
Situation.
We'll start from scratch and re-write the wrongs the universe had us go through.
Because maybe, instead of waiting for another lifetime.
And for the first and finally the last time,
we'll introduce ourselves once more.
As we stand on the aisle under the most gorgeous architecture of a cathedral.
